"It is possible to call the youngest generation “the generation of technical progress” or “the generation of computers.” Lives of people who were born in last thirty years are so different than lives of their ancestors. One of the most fundamental differences is the existence of computer. This invention brought many new phenomenons. One of them are computer games. There are two basic opinions to them which divide society.
Many people suppose, that computer games violate children´s psyche. This opinion is connected primarily with games, which include action and violence. There are some cases when children are aggressive or attack somebody because they are influenced with violent computer games and movies. Moreover, some games may be very addictive. There is real danger that the child can stop perceive reality, lose friends, be aggressive and stop eating.
On the other hand, there are games, which can entertain, educate and develop some skills. For example games, which can be used at school to enrich lessons as geography, history or math. It is more interesting that sitting in benches and watching the blackboard.
The most important thing is to control, which games your children play and if they don´t spend too much time by this activity. It is important for every child to live in normal social environment, have friends a more hobbies."
