„Spring
Spring feast of the Christian Church are Easter. Good Friday celebrates Jesus´ crucifixion while Easter Sunday celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus. In Britain Eastern eggs, dyed and decorated symbolizing new life and are given as a present. In America some families organize an egg hunt – children look for eggs which the adults hid somewhere in the house or garden. Eastern are very different in Czech Republic. Children go to rattle with rattles five times per day from Thursday to Saturday. In Eastern Monday boys have plaits willow cane and they whip girls. Boys must to say a rhyme and girls give them dyed eggs.
All Fools´ Day is celebrated in England and Czech Republic. It is named after the habit of practical jokes on the people and then you can shout:”April Fool!”
April 23rd is celebrated St. George, the patron saint of England.
1st May is May Day in Britain. Political parties left hold procession and public meeting. In Czech Republic, 1st May is Labor Day and 8th May we celebrate end of Second World War.
At 2nd Sunday in May people celebrate Mother´s Day, which honours all mother. This feast is held in England, United States and also in Czech Republic.
At 4th Monday in May Americans has Memorial Day. It honours Americans killed in wars and most recently all the dead. Flowers and flags are placed on the graves.
On Saturday after June 9 British celebrate The Queen´s Official Birthday. There are various ceremonies associated with it, such as the ceremony of Trooping the Colour at the Horse Guards Parade in London.

Summer
During the summer, British don´t celebrate any feast. Americans celebrate only Independence Day at 4th July. This Day celebrates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Each city has own ceremony and parades, band concerts etc.
In the Czech Republic there are two banks holiday at the beginning of July. 5th July is Day of Cyril and Method and 6th July we commemorate Burn to death of Jan Hus."
