Celebrate end of the second world war and liberating our country from Nazi.

On 5th of July people celebrate a day when they remember Cyril and Methodius, two Byzantine Greek priest who came to Great Moravia in 863 to spread Christianity. They created the Glagolitic alphabet (hlaholice).

On 6th of July people commemorate Jan Hus. On July 6 in 1415 he was burned at the stake in Kostnice. Jan Hus was a priest who criticized the corruption in the Catholic Church.

St. Wenceslas day is celebrating on 28th of September and it is the day when the whole nation remembers the main patron saint of the Czech state. Wenceslas was one of the early Premyslid dukes of Bohemia, who was murdered by his younger brother Boleslav I."
