There are famous cities, for example London, Liverpool, Manchester (famous for football team Manchester United), Oxford (there are oldest universities in the world). There are also well-known prehistoric locations, for example Stonehenge.
London:
It is the capital city of the UK. There are about 9 million inhabitants. It is on the Thames River. It is one of the biggest cities in the world. It is divided into historical Old London and 32 districts.
London is the center of cultural, political and social activities. There is Westminster, which has the Houses of Parliament and the clock tower which contains Big Ben, a large bell. There is also Buckingham Palace where the Queen lives."
