"Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel
Coco Chanel created her company in 1910 and she was a designer to her death. Her first productions were hats for very rich women and after she produced clothes, jewels and perfumes. She was making dress for Audrey Hepburn or Jacqueline Kennedy. Her company became very famous but during World War II she had to close store. Brothers Wertheimer became owners in 1953 and Coco Chanel worked like a director and head designer for Chanel to her death (1971).

Coco Chanel style
Coco Chanel has brought new element of 20s style to the fashion and her “fashion news” are still in the high style. She very loved men´s clothes and elegance. Coco Chanel connected these two aspects together. Her invention was a little black dress. She promoted using trousers in woman fashion or she had a short length of her hair.

Karl Lagerfeld
He is a very famous designer, who works for Chloé or Fendi. He´s become head leader of Chanel and head designer in 1982. His collections are the best selling around the world. He cooperates with H&M.

The 1st boutique was founded in Paris by Coco Chanel. There are 200 Chanel boutiques around the world and Chanel is the most favourite fashionable company and the best selling. Chanel company employs around 1270 employees and their annual revenues can be $145,000. Sales of Chanel are $450 million every year and company produces about 2500 products every year.

Campaign of Chanel
Chanel produces new perfume every 10 years and Chanel chooses one model (an actress, a singer), which is called “spokesmodel” for presentation of new perfume. Models were Marylin Monroe, Audrey Tautou (she has played Coco Chanel in the movie Coco before Chanel) , Vanessa Paradis or Nicole Kidman. Keira Knightley is a spokesmodel for the last perfume Coco Mademoiselle.
