"Australia has only 22.5 million people and is one of the least densely populated countries (s nejmenší hustotou obydlení). The first people to live there were Aborigines, who came over 50.000 years ago. Aborigines legends, songs and dances tell of powerful spirits who created the land and people during the Dreamtime. There was no written Aboriginal language. Today they make up a small proportion of the total population. Some Aboriginals continue the old nomadic way of life. Most of Australians live in east side of Australia in big cities as Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

The capital, Canberra was founded in 1928 and the name comes from an Aboriginal word meaning “Meeting place”. This city is located in Australia Capital Territory and the government sits there.
Australia is divided into six states and two territories. (2+ Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory)
The most known state is New South Wales where Sydney is. It’s Australia largest city with very famous sights like The Sydney Opera House, the Harbour bridge and Mount Kosciusko."
